Quarantine life according to this Missouri resident:

“Been doing a lot more baking now, though I have failed at sourdough still. Been feeling very isolated, don’t know what I would do if it weren’t for communicating via text and phone with friends. Have also used the time to find groups to volunteer with in community service – helping churches prep food boxes, and until the state shut down I was doing deliveries to families in need with a mutual aid group that popped up.

The city (Rolla) still has a lot of traffic, which has me a little concerned, seeing as it means that nobody is taking it that seriously, and I don’t see a whole lot of masks or gloves, improvised or otherwise. If the state upended back up, I expect people would quickly try to go back to normal, which would be very bad. Most people here think it’s no big deal.”
