Japan 5-2-2020

Quarantine life according to this resident of Japan:

“Japan did ok with the first wave, but they didn’t go out an actively test to contain the outbreak. It is commonly believed that the PM was hoping things would blow over and the Olympics would go off as planned. As a result, the virus was spreading undetected.

Now Japan is responding to the crisis which some are calling the “second wave” but is likely the uncontrolled fallout from the first wave. Things are calm in the countryside, but some areas, like Tokyo and Hokkaido are being hit hard.”
