These seven short episodes cover the Lich and the history of the earth. While they don’t all take place on the same timeline, the universes essentially have the same history, with only minor details being altered. More of the backstory is revealed in other episodes, and especially in the mini-series Islands which explains Finn’s origins as (mostly) the only human in Ooo.
