This deck I’ve had for probably 8 years now, and it’s evolved a bunch in that time. The main mechanism of this deck is token spawn. It used to be as simple as spawn 50 or so token elves, use lifegain, and over-run your opponent. Now there are a few other tricks, but I swap out a few cards almost every time I play it, trying to perfect the formula. This deck indirectly started from the Elf deck in the original Elves VS Goblins. I had taken that deck apart, but in going through my green cards to build another deck this is what I came up with. There are times when the deck takes a while to get going (which can ruin it’s possibility of winning, especially against my group of friends), and there are times when it defeats 4 opponents with only two forests. Here’s what’s in the deck at the time of writing this:
1x Nissa Revane
1x Champion of Lambholt
1x Leyline of Vitality
1x Bow of Nylea
1x Ezuri, Renegade Leader
1x Jagged-Scar Archers
2x Naturalize
2x Thornweald Archer
2x Wren’s Run Vanquisher
2x Llanowar Elves
3x Descendants’ Path
3x Elvish Archdruid
3x Emmara Tandris
3x Fog
4x Wellwisher
4x Lys Alana Huntmaster
4x Imperious Perfect
4x Elvish Harbinger
4x Elvish Promenade
1x Wirewood Lodge
2x Vivid Grove
11x Forest
Typically there’s enough mana ability to not worry about the amount of lands (especially now that Elvish Archdruid has joined us). Usually if your opening hand has two lands in it, you’re good with this deck. Not always of course. The four cards that there are four each or are the main cards to run this deck, though they’re not all always necessary. If you have any suggestions for improvements, combos, etc, leave a comment!
