Young Thomas always loved
to play with his toys
and he’d take them to school
to share with the boys.
The teacher didn’t mind
that Thomas was sharing;
She saw it as a sign
of compassion and caring.
But as time when on
His playthings got more dark;
He explained it one day
with a sinister remark:
“The toys aren’t ours
to play with on break;
believing so is a
grown-up mistake.
Children belong
to the toys don’t you know;
They play with us,
and they watch us grow.
And if we refuse
to do what they say
we’ll all be punished
in the most horrible way.”
Teacher didn’t know what
to make of this tale.
“Boys who tell scary stories
end up in jail.”
She thought if she said this
the stories would end;
But trouble was only beginning,
my friend.
She made a new rule:
No More Toys In Class.
Suddenly the room was
full of broken glass.
The windows seemed to
implode on their own,
And the toys were back!
She got on the phone.
“The toys are alive!”
Principle called her a liar,
Then the line went dead
as the toys cut the wire.
The toys said to Teacher
“Watch, and learn.”
As they raised up their arms
the kids started to burn.
They ran for their lives
all screaming in pain;
They ran to the river
at the end of the lane.
The teacher followed them
down to the shore
but it was too late;
The kids were no more.
The kids had all drowned,
except for one boy;
The same one who started it
all with a toy.
As the teacher watched,
the toys all grabbed Thomas
and told him “You should have
kept your promise.
Remember our deal, that
we’d rule the world,
and you’d be rewarded
if no one was told;
Well now see what happens!”
as their eyes glowed red,
and Teacher fell backwards
and smacked her head.
Thomas ran to her;
She was quite the mess.
Blood covered her face
and most of her dress.
The toys eyes got darker
And then Thomas knew
that eating her eyes was
what he must do.
When he was finished
he burst into flames.
The toys laughed; this was
not the worst of their games.
The pain was too much;
Thomas had died.
Teacher woke up
and she cried and cried.
When the police found her
they thought she killed the kids.
Why else would she have killed
herself the way that she did?
Now the stench lingers on
of burnt girls and boys
to remind kids they need to
respect all their toys
And keep all their promises
And never tell lies
or their toys will kill them
and eat out their eyes.

Ok then!
